You might be wondering what shooting a compound bow into the water is going to help with - the answer is bow fishing.

It is perfect for this as well - compact and lightweight. It is simply not practicle to be holding a bow that is too heavy while trying to line up the fish. Not only that but it is available in 40, 50 and 60lbs draw weight and 24-30" lengths. The cam can also be adjusted by up to 7" so it will fit almost any age.

You can more than make a splash with this bow and it has gone through plenty of testing. Indeed, its name comes from its maiden voyage where it subdued a Mako shark. Bowfishing bows ar becoming ever more popular so this is a welcome addition from Alpine.

The Alpine Micro Elite compound bow oozes class, quality and performance. The micro elite line was refined for 2009 and although mainly cosmetic it also boasts a new riser design. Unlike some other bows though there is no plastic to be found anywhere on this bow which is a huge selling point.

Much like other Alpine Compound Bows, there are no shortcuts in manufacturing this line. The cams and limbs are made from high grade aluminium and although it is a small bow it is ideal for the young and women and can still pack a punch with its whopping 280 fps [feet per second] IBO. It is bound to be one of the highlights of 2009 and pick up many trophies. The youth bow range has what could probably be one of the best bows of the year.

Alpine Frontier compound bows are incredibly easy to use and even if you are a beginner you will feel like a pro in no time. It is a light bow with a machined handle and aluminium components which is what you expect from any quality Alpine bow.

This standard one-cam bow has an adjustable draw length and is held in high regard due to its high quality craftmanship and top performance while having a very affordable price range. Once again, as demonstrated in other quality alpine bows, there are no plastic parts. Each Frontier compound bow is calibrated at the factory with their own dampening accessories, and the claim from Alpine is that this makes them "as silent as a sniper".

Given the high quality of the bows, the extensive features and the price point this bow would typically suit anyone looking for a reliable compound bow.
