Much of the technology used is similar as in the Destroyer 350, with only some minor differences. It isnt as quick but that doesnt mean to say that this bow is a slouch - far from it, it is still capable of up to 340FPS which is still quicker than many others.

The 2010 Destroyer was designed to be accurate and easy to draw, but due to the included features it also made it very, very fast, at up to 350FPS. This is a mighty impressive package and it is the reason it became Bowtechs best selling high end bow, ever.

When 2011 arrived, the Destroyer 350 was kept as part of their catalog with some minor changes to it. However, with that said, if its not broken, dont fix it! Luckily, they took no risks and it still features some of the features it has in the previous years model, which are described below.

The HardCore limbs are able to store energy which is usually only done towards the outside. However, in these, the core also takes some of the energy which shares the load out. This means that there is less vibration and noise and the bow can make better use of the kinetic energy that is stored.

At first look, the Overdrive cams look to be quite big, but when you are up close and personal they look much more aggresive which is what the bow delivers. Cam stability is improved by attaching a tunable split cable harness onto the ends which means that you get even more accuracy and again helps to reduce noise.

The other major feature of this bow is the FLX-Guard. This is a cable containment system which is designed to flex so it absorbs most of the torque which most bows transfer to the riser. It makes this quite a forgiving bow to use. It is also surprisingly easy to tune to your needs as well which is a bonus and you wouldnt otherwise know it was there.

Theres not many bad things to say about the bow because it basically does everything very well. Its not the fastest bow on the market but it certainly among the top, but the performance it offers in other area's surely makes this one of the best for 2011.

The bow weighs in at just 3.9lbs but this isn't where you will find it to be most impressive. What is striking from the get-go is the just how blazingly fast this bow is. It's specs suggest that it is capable of up to 343FPS which is faster than most on the market but when you actually shoot it, the initial reaction feels like it is faster than that.

Fans of BowTech bows, in particular those that used the center pivot design like the General, will be pleased to know that the Invasion uses a sweeping riser. This in effect improves the original design which was popular as it was near silent and very smooth, but did suffer from speed problems. The new design helps it to reach its IBO speed so should please even more fans.

A new feature of this bow is the CPX technology which acts as a platform for improved accuracy. The deflexed riser eliminates torque and twist meaning you get a much more accurate shot.

The cams that this bow uses are the same as the Bowtech Destroyer, which was released in 2010 and uses the Overdrive Binary Cam system. It also uses HardCore limbs which are also well known and offer it a much more sturdy feel. Throw into the mix the FLX Guard and cable rod string stop and you have a bow that is going to be one of the most sought after in 2011.

The riser meets the split limbs near the center point which is constructed around a Zero Tolerance process. This means that no precision is lost when shooting and the strength and torque remain spot on. giving accurate shots consistently.

The bow is again made from forged aluminium rather than machined which is usually found in other bows. Forged gives it much more strength, and it is a process that is usually reserved for specialist tools, high end motorsports or aviation. The srength is immediatly apparant since there is no give in the bow at all.

The sentinel has a lot to live up to, being part of the same family as the Admiral, but as a high end bow performs consistently. The frames make up a lot of the quality in both bows and it is this you are paying for; if you want to hit your target time after time then look no further.

Every shot you make will be delivered exactly as the last, since the risers do not flex like other bows. This means that it is easy to replicate each and every shot since the conditions are exactly the same - no slight adjustments due to extra pressure, bending, flexing or such.

The bow would be excellent for most, although beginners might find the price a little offputting. If you want to learn the basics first this might be a bit out of your price range, although if you have the budget then you will look and feel like a pro in no time. For those that want consistency this bow is a must have and is geared towards proffessionals and hunters alike.
