The Martin Onza 3 compound bow has been improved for 2011 but features a riser that which is bridged much like the original. This helps to give it balance and strength.
It's a very quick bow, at more than 330FPS but it also has an immense feeling of control and stability. Updates from the original include new durable limbs, while the nitro hybrid cams deliver the performance you would expect from a top end compound bow.
The Martin Onza 3 also has an improved Torque Reducing Cable Guard and along with the String Oscillation Suppressor, both help to also make this a very quiet bow when releasing your shot. As soon as you do, you will not only notice just how fast the bow is, but also that there is very little noise or vibration. Not only that, but with the accuracy you would expect on far slower bows that often give more stability as a result, it's just hard to not like what you have in front of you.
The price point might put a few people off, especially beginners, but anyone that is serious about shooting should definitely put this on their list. Martin's literature says 'shoot it to beleive it' and you can understand exactly why they have said that.
